Debbie Doherty is a seasoned professional with over 35 years of experience in accounting, tax-related matters, and representation at the IRS. Currently, she spearheads Doherty & Associates, a prominent accounting firm in Wilmington, Delaware known for its bespoke tax and financial services. Under her astute leadership, the firm has thrived in managing numerous corporate accounting departments, ensuring top-tier account management and tailored services to suit each unique business.

More than her business achievements, Debbie is heavily driven by her longstanding passion for volunteer work. Starting out as a young candy striper aiding hospital patients and later moving onto decorating rooms at nursing homes during Christmas, her commitment to helping others has remained an unwavering constant in her life. Over the years, her volunteerism has extended to non-profit organizations like Odyssey, a Hospice Organization, Kind to Kids, Ronald McDonald House, and Exceptional Care for Children. Beyond these, Debbie is known to actively participate in church events and attend various nonprofit events such as those held by the Alzheimer’s Association and The Tears Foundation.
In recognition of her tireless contributions to the community, Debbie was honored by the Governor of Delaware for her numerous years spent volunteering. Her commitment to service is further seen in her role as the Chair Person and Co-founder of Tender Hearts charity, a passion project close to her heart that epitomizes her dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Despite her busy professional life and extensive volunteering commitments, Debbie never misses out on spending quality time with her family, especially her precious grandchildren. In her leisure time, she enjoys shopping, event planning, and crafting. She also loves to meet new people, viewing each interaction as an opportunity to spread the word about Tender Hearts Charity.
Driven by her favorite mantra – “Creating and building new relationships is the link to all success,” Debbie continues to make her mark in both her professional and personal life. Furthermore, by combining her career in finance and passion for philanthropy, she brings about a unique synergy that enriches her professional life while positively impacting the community.

However, Tim’s dedication extends beyond his professional pursuits, as he is a loving husband to Rosa, his wife and a proud pet parent to the cutest dog named Lychee. He cherishes the time spent with Rosa and Lychee, valuing these moments as precious opportunities to unwind and recharge.
In terms of hobbies, Tim is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys working out and maintaining a balanced, healthy lifestyle. He has a culinary flair and finds great joy in cooking, experimenting with different cuisines and flavors in his kitchen. Often, Tim’s volunteering spirit is reflected in his cooking, when he uses his culinary skills to contribute to community events or family gatherings.
Traveling is another of Tim’s passions. He loves exploring new places, cultures, and experiences, believing traveling broadens one’s perspective and enriches the mind. A lifelong learner, he has most recently embarked on a journey to master Spanish. This pursuit not just complements his love for travel but also empowers him to engage more deeply with diverse communities.
Throughout his various professional roles – whether that’s disrupting the advertiser sphere as Sr. Director of Strategic Accounts at Skai or developing global brand strategy as an Account Executive at Salesforce – one common thread runs: his unwavering commitment to excellence.
